Westside Purple Line Extension

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) is extending its heavy rail system to the Westwood/Veterans Hospital area. This third phase of the 8.9 mile Westside Purple Line Extension includes 2.56 miles, two stations and crossovers. Our team developed and managed 3D models of existing conditions, Subsurface Utilities Engineering, twin circular tunnel structures and all structural, architectural and MEP components of underground stations for the BIM system for design, data sharing and team collaboration on the project. Tasks included creating and developing 3D models of facilities, development, and delivery of coaching and mentoring sessions for both the project management and engineering team of designers, construction managers and project managers.
